Why Mid Life Women should stay hydrated

  Is avoiding wrinkles important to you? Then the best thing that you can do for yourself is stay hydrated by drinking water.   Yes I know that there are fabulous products out there that really do work but ultimately...... your beauty shines from within;   The foods you eat – fresh and filled with energy. The thoughts you have - are you happy? The life you lead - are you loving your journey? The energy you exude - move JOYFULLY Woman!   And Water.   We are over 80% water. Our body prioritises our life sustaining organs first; our Brain, Heart, and Kidneys. Wrinkles are it’s LEAST important worry.   Water   gives us energy, flushes out toxins, promotes weight loss (if that is your goal), keeps your cells hydrated, and is one of the easiest, cheapest, and best ways to stay healthy without having to give anything up. WHAT’S THE BEST EXERCISE TO HELP YOU GET/STAY FIT? šŸ”¹ Cardio? šŸ”¹ Weights? šŸ”¹ Walking? šŸ”¹ Running? šŸ”¹ CrossFit? šŸ”¹ Swimming? šŸ”¹ The latest attention grabbing headliner promoted by an Insta-Fit Influencer? How about the one that you really enjoy doing! There’s zero long term benefit in me suggesting any particular exercise if you have to grit your teeth to get to the gym or park. If lifting heavy stuff brings you joy - do more of that! If huffy puffy walks around the park with a buddy are your thing - DO THAT šŸ™Œ Just find ways to move every day and take every opportunity to get up out of your chair.
HI AND WELCOME TO INDIE FITNESS. I’M LARA, P.T & dance Fitness Instructor in Perth, WA I run classes in the Perth suburbs of Bassendean and Eden Hill, and am Cert IV Fitness qualified, with a focus on Mid Life Women and their specific needs; Being a Mid Life Woman myself, I have a unique insight into the needs of Women as they age; it’s about us finding the joy in exercise again, as well as maintaining muscle AND bone density. How our changing hormones also impact on the intensity at which we can exercise - we want to move and gain cardio fitness, but we don’t want to injure ourselves! My classes are where you will rediscover the YOU whom you thought long gone; The woman who danced to the latest Disco beats all night long!
How do you determine when you hit your natural weight/size? Scales? % of body fat? Pinch test? What if a plateau is your body’s way of saying “Hey Woman, I think you are just perfect now, let’s sit with this.” Thoughts? PS: Most of you following my page know my thoughts on Body size/weight/whatevs (I’m eating to nourish my body/moving because it makes me feel awesome!) I'm interested in YOUR thoughts xx L
